Basic Function: Great opportunity for a seasoned, entrepreneurial marketing manager with a passion for product! The ideal candidate will have experience in a technical category such as skincare, haircare or haircolor with a focus on global marketing and product development. Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking and attention to detail are a must; creativity is a plus. Five or more years’ experience required. Major Duties: • Identifies consumer, salon, and technological insights and trends • Builds, maintains and protects the brand DNA while driving innovation • Fosters collaborative relationships with Domestic and International Marketing • Generates innovative product ideas and concepts that will continue to feed the future pipeline of brand growth • Leads the development process including product positioning, formulation, packaging, , and pricing • Assists in development of category strategy, branding and advertising /communication • Evaluates and identifies cost savings, improvements and other ongoing initiatives to contribute growth and value to the bottom line of the organization • Supports management of the brand support budget • Support the management of the brand P&L in partnership with local markets • Conducts market research (Focus Groups, Surveys, Competitive Analysis) and identifies areas of focus • Co-manage and develop a Marketing Associate Job Requirements: • Bachelor degree required • Related work experience 5-7years; language and international experience is a plus • Self-starter and entrepreneurial • Must be ‘hands-on’ and get involved with the details. • Development experience preferred • Able to demonstrate leadership and ownership of projects • Strong communication skills • Highly conceptual with strong affinity for aesthetics • A passion, curiosity and natural interest for beauty
